Century

Century is a work of art that invites both visual and conceptual self-reflection.

Framed with real, hand-selected dried flowers and blossoms, carefully preserved in epoxy resin, the piece is interwoven with circular mirrors that serve as a medium for the viewer's introspection.

At its core stands a sculptural knob, shaped like a rose — a symbol of love and devotion, representing the essential principle at the heart of this work: self-love. 

The conceptual foundation of Century lies in the reminder never to forget oneself. Life is often shaped by sacrifice — for others, for duty, for love. While such acts can be noble, they must exist in balance with personal integrity and self-regard.

Century was created to serve as a daily reminder that taking time for oneself is not selfish, but vital. It calls us to pause, to honour the present moment, and to recognize that — like the delicate preserved blossoms surrounding the mirror — our inner world is sensitive, sacred, and worthy of care. 

Only what arises from within can be fully trusted. It is from this truth that we look into the mirror, not to examine ourselves as objects, but to encounter our inner being — and to offer it the same unconditional love we would give a child, a beloved companion, or any soul we hold dear. 

To deepen this ongoing dialogue with the self, Century includes a living ritual:

Once per year, the collector receives a carefully curated bouquet of dried flowers. In a private consultation, we discuss which botanical elements — such as lavender, or any plant of your choice — resonate with your personal and aesthetic inclinations, ensuring the arrangement reflects your energy and intention. 

Additionally, upon request, we offer a custom-formulated affirmation — a unique text phrase crafted for you, to be internalized in a quiet moment before the Century mirror. This affirmation serves as a ritual for conscious alignment and inner balance. 

Our hope is that Century becomes more than an object — that it carries with it a piece of essential knowledge. A wisdom passed down like an heirloom, offering future generations a spiritual infrastructure that transcends the visible world.

Though not seen with the physical eye, it is clearly perceived with the inner eye — forming an invisible but powerful network of resonance, for those ready to receive it. 

And perhaps, in doing so, it may inspire others to create their own Century — and their own inner return.

Century

Century ist ein Kunstwerk, das in seiner Formensprache sowohl visuell als auch konzeptionell eine Einladung zur Selbstreflexion darstellt.

Eingebettet in eine Umrahmung aus echten, getrockneten Blüten und Pflanzen, die sorgfältig mit Epoxidharz konserviert wurden, ist das Werk mit runden Spiegeln versehen, welche die zentrale Interaktion mit dem Betrachter ermöglichen.

Der Knauf – in Gestalt einer stilisierten Rose – symbolisiert die liebende Hingabe und steht zugleich für ein universelles Prinzip: die Selbstliebe.

Im Zentrum der Idee von Century steht die Erinnerung daran, sich selbst nicht zu vergessen. In einem Leben, das häufig durch Selbstaufopferung und Fürsorge für andere geprägt ist – sei es aus Liebe, Pflichtgefühl oder Mitgefühl – erinnert Century daran, dass wahre Balance nur entstehen kann, wenn auch das eigene Selbst Raum bekommt.

Selbstfürsorge ist kein Egoismus, sondern eine fundamentale Grundlage für geistige und emotionale Gesundheit.

Die zart gefassten, epoxidierten Blüten stehen sinnbildlich für die Verletzlichkeit unseres Inneren. Sie erinnern daran, dass das, was aus unserem Innersten kommt, wahrhaftig ist – und nur dieser inneren Wahrheit können wir bedingungslos vertrauen.

Einmal im Jahr erhält der/die Besitzer:in ein persönlich kuratiertes Bouquet aus getrockneten Blumen. In einem Vorgespräch werden Präferenzen – etwa Lavendel oder andere botanische Varianten – besprochen, um ein Arrangement zu gestalten, das ästhetisch und energetisch auf den/die Empfänger:in abgestimmt ist.

Zusätzlich kann auf Wunsch eine individuelle Affirmation erstellt werden – ein persönlicher Text zur Verinnerlichung in einem Moment der Stille vor dem Century-Spiegel.

Dieses Ritual dient der bewussten Zentrierung, der Stärkung der inneren Balance und der Wiederverbindung mit dem eigenen Wesenskern.

Unsere Hoffnung ist es, dass Century nicht nur ein ästhetisches Objekt bleibt, sondern ein wertvolles Wissen in sich trägt – ein Bewusstsein, das als Erbstück weitergegeben werden kann. So wird ein stilles, aber kraftvolles Netzwerk geschaffen – ein geistiges Vermächtnis für kommende Generationen.

Auch wenn es mit dem blossen Auge nicht sichtbar sein mag, wird es mit dem inneren Auge umso klarer erfahrbar – und kann jene erreichen, die bereit sind, sich selbst wieder zu begegnen.
